וַיֶּ֛גֶל הַשְּׁאֵרִ֥ית מִן־הַחֶ֖רֶב אֶל־בָּבֶ֑ל וַֽיִּהְיוּ־ל֤וֹ וּלְבָנָיו֙ לַעֲבָדִ֔ים עַד־מְלֹ֖ךְ מַלְכ֥וּת פָּרָֽס׃
און די װאָס זײַנען געבליבן פֿון שװערד האָט ער פֿאַרטריבן קײן בבֿל, און זײ זײַנען געװאָרן צו אים און צו זײַנע זין פֿאַר קנעכט ביז דער מלוכה פֿון מלכות פּרס;
Daniel
And the king provided for them daily from the pathbag [(the food)] of the king, and from the wine that he drank, to be reared [on this regimen] for three years, [after which] some would [be selected to] pay attendance upon the king.
